Jersey Hemp was originally established as a fully integrated, seed-to-bottle CBD producer, with complete control over cultivation, extraction, and production. 

Following legal action involving the UK Home Office and the Government of Jersey, the business was forced to cease operations. As a direct consequence, we had to make our team redundant and wind down key parts of the operation, including production infrastructure. 

Although the legal outcome ultimately confirmed that the actions taken against us were unlawful, the impact on the business was significant. Rebuilding a fully operational production model is not immediate—it requires careful planning, resourcing, and investment. 

In particular, returning to in-house production involves: 

• Re-establishing skilled teams  
• Planning and executing new cultivation cycles and harvests  
• Rebuilding production capability and infrastructure  
• Managing the financial constraints resulting from the disruption  

This process takes time, and we are committed to doing it properly rather than rushing it. 

In the meantime, we have carefully sourced trusted manufacturing partners who closely reflect the standards and ethos Jersey Hemp was built on. This allows us to continue offering high-quality, consistent products while we rebuild. 

Our goal remains unchanged: to return to full seed-to-bottle production and re-establish Jersey Hemp as a leading, fully traceable CBD producer.
