How much CBD Oil should I use?
Every individual is different and the required amount of CBD per day will vary accordingly. We recommend starting with a low amount and increasing gradually, while monitoring results.
The recommended daily allowance presented on the bottle is based on an 80-kilogram (kg) adult.
Each Jersey Hemp product will deliver a different amount of CBD per drop. Information on how to quantify the amount of CBD in each drop can be found in the table below.
CBD is non-toxic and larger amounts may be taken safely. We recommend switching to the higher concentration CBD oils if you require larger amounts. There are approximately 20 drops in one full dropper of oil (~1ml).
How to Use CBD Oil
Sublingual Application
Place the desired amount of CBD oil under the tongue for 1 – 2 minutes before swallowing. If stronger concentrations of CBD are required, we recommend purchasing a higher strength bottle to reduce the quantity of liquid in the mouth.
Topical Application
For small areas of skin, apply 2 – 3 drops of CBD oil directly and gently rub into the skin. For larger areas of skin or for use in a full body massage we recommend diluting the CBD oil 10 times with your preferred carrier oil. For example, a full body massage would use 25 – 50 ml of massage oil. For a 10x dilution you would add 2.5ml of CBD oil to 22.5ml of Jersey Hemp Hempseed Oil or another carrier oil.
