We’re used to things taking time on the farm. We plant our hemp seedlings, nurture them and we know that in a few months they’re going to be ready to harvest. But when you decide to start a new wellness routine, you want to know exactly when you’re going to see results. Sound familiar?

How do I know how much CBD to take?
Everyone’s different and reacts to CBD differently, so finding the ‘right’ amount for you will take a little time. Start with our recommended daily amount which you can work out here, and then monitor how it affects you. Some people find it’s helpful to keep a journal of how they’re feeling for the first few days, and then adjust how much you’re taking accordingly. Set a regular time each day to take CBD oil, and then slightly adjust how much you take up or down until you find an amount that works for you.
Is there an ideal time of the day to take CBD?
Not really. It depends on what suits you and your daily routine. Some people choose to take CBD in the morning as a start to their day, other people prefer to make it part of their sleep routine. Find the time of day to take CBD that works for you and that’s easiest to remember. That way, it will mean that you can take CBD every day as part of your routine, and then stick to it to achieve consistent results.
What’s the best way to take CBD?
The most common way is to place a few drops under the tongue, using the dropper, and then waiting a few seconds for it to dissolve and absorb into the bloodstream via the capillaries. Our CBD is mixed with a carrier hemp oil from our Jersey-grown hemp plants, which has a natural flavour of its own. If you’re not keen on the subtle ‘green’ taste of hemp oil, then you can try mixing your CBD oil into a fresh smoothie or vegetable juice, or even adding it to your morning latte. How fast does it work?
Amounts and effects will vary from person to person. But as a rule of thumb, if someone is taking their recommended amount of CBD oil as drops under the tongue, it would normally take effect in around 20-40 minutes. Have patience and listen to your body.
How will I get the best results?
As with any wellness routine, consistency is key to achieving the best results. We’d recommend starting by taking the recommended amount of CBD at the time of day that works for you, and make it a part of your every day routine. Then track your experience and the effects. Some people find it helpful to take a daily note of when they took CBD, how much they took, and what they noticed about their thoughts and feelings. And keep us in touch!
